[ES_JOBS_NET] postdoctoral position in earth system modeling for land-based CDR strategies (University of Sheffield)

Dear all, 

We are seeking to recruit a 2-year Postdoctoral Research Associate in Earth System Modeling at the Leverhulme Center for Climate Change Mitigation (University of Sheffield). 

This is part of a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funded project, "The Net-Zero emissions challenge: Quantifying unintended climate feedbacks from large-scale deployment of land-based CO2 removal strategies."

We seek to appoint someone with experience in earth system modelling (or land modeling), with a background in atmosphere-biosphere interactions to design and conduct modelling experiments of land-based CO2 removal strategies and atmospheric feedbacks (eg, wildfires, ozone damage, methane from peatland restoration).
