the Inorganic Environmental Geochemistry group at ETH Zurich and Eawag, Switzerland, is seeking an enthusiastic PhD student with a keen interest in deeply understanding biogeochemical processes and mechanisms. The research position aims at improving the understanding of dynamic spatial arsenic contamination patterns in the Red River and Mekong River Deltas in Vietnam and their underlying factors.

This is a fixed-term position for 4 years. Starting date is February 2024 or upon mutual agreement.
