Hi all,

The University of North Dakota’s Department of Atmospheric Sciences is seeking a diverse group of qualified applicants for three early career tenure-track Assistant Professors and one mid-career tenure-track / tenured open rank faculty position, starting 16 August 2024.

These are 9-month positions with a generous 12-month benefits package.  The early career candidates are expected to develop, and all candidates are expected to maintain a nationally/internationally renowned research program by bringing in extramural funding to cover their summer salary and support year-around GRA stipends for their graduate students.  Many areas of expertise are being welcomed in this call. (See full advertisement in the links.)

Required: passing a criminal history background check and completion of a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences, Meteorology, or closely related field. The mid-career candidates must additionally have worked in Atmospheric Sciences or a closely related field for at least the last 5 years.
