Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Paleo-hydroclimate

I am seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to join our lab, working on understanding the causes of past hydroclimate extremes in the Americas. The specific research question to be addressed is flexible and it can be tailored to the interests of the research fellow.

The work of this position will primarily involve the statistical analysis of observations, paleoclimate data, climate model simulations, and global paleoclimate reconstructions. A PhD in climate, atmospheric, earth, or hydrological science (broadly defined) is required. It is preferred, though not essential, that the candidate have experience statistically analysing large datasets using Python, Matlab, Julia, or R. The initial start date would ideally be sometime this summer or early fall of 2023. The appointment will be for one year and may be renewed for additional years based on performance. I support and encourage flexible working hours and working remotely.
