The Illinois State Geological Survey is seeking a Visiting Senior Scientific Specialist, Geophysics to conduct and manage field investigations and deliverables associated with geophysical research to contribute to multi-disciplinary research programs within the Prairie Research Institute and beyond. The position will be based in Champaign, Illinois.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in geophysics, geology, geography, civil engineering, environmental engineering, natural resources and environmental science, or related discipline. Alternate degree fields will be considered depending on the nature and depth of the experience as it relates to this position.  Preferred Qualifications: Background in geophysics and experience with collecting field data and geophysics processing software.
