[ES_JOBS_NET] Soil-plant interactions and C sequestration in rangelands – post-masters or post-doc

Seeking notice of interest for position studying soil carbon dynamics in
sagebrush steppe ecosystems starting ASAP. Position will be located in
Boise, Idaho as a part of a collaborative effort between University and
Federal scientists. Must have strong background in data analysis in R with
background in soil biogeochemistry, soil carbon dynamics, and soil nutrient
cycling. Ecosystem carbon modeling with models such as Century would also
be beneficial. The ideal applicant would have very strong interpersonal and
communication skills, and some experience as a mentor as they would be
working with a diverse research group and managing day-to-day operations for
multiple projects including oversight of technicians in the field and lab.
A strong publication record (commensurate with career stage) is a must.
