The Rosenstiel School Department of Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami is recruiting a post-doctoral research associate to develop regional climate modelling tools for climate adaptation in the Southeast US.  The successful applicant will work with Rosenstiel climate modelling faculty (Kirtman, Clement, Soden), as well as an interdisciplinary team of faculty, local government, and community-based organizations to develop climate projection services through stakeholder guidance and foundational science. The team will conduct the research necessary to support reliable and scientifically robust climate projection services, ensuring approaches that are state-of-the art, thoroughly and transparently documented, and developed in close collaboration with stakeholders.
