Disasters Program Coordinator - NASA Headquarters / Booz Allen Hamilton
Key Role:

Assist the Program Manager of the client's Disasters Program area with advancing program management and planning, portfolio management, communications, stakeholder engagement, and project management. Support the Program Manager in delivering the Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution components for the program and supporting Associate Program Managers to manage the advancement of disaster applications projects funded under the Program. Support program strategy development and execution of various components including identifying opportunities to advance risk communication related to disaster risk reduction and resilience. Serve as the focal point for engagement across the program and support the identification of opportunities with key internal and external stakeholders. Monitor partner readiness, impact, and capacity to utilize the client's data products and collaborate on approaches to make needed advances. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a disaster risk reduction and resilience field
Experience building communities and maintaining partnerships across a range of sectors
Knowledge of activities for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Master's degree in International Relations, Policy, or Social Sciences
Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of and participation in national and international activities relevant to corporate partnerships, disaster risk reduction, and resilience
Ability to demonstrate high-level social skills, including situational awareness, active listening, and empathy
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining complex topics for a wide range of audiences
Possession of strong organizational skills, including managing multiple concurrent projects from inception to delivery
