The University of Nevada, Reno is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor
in numerical weather/climate prediction in the Department of Physics. The
new hire will add to a vibrant Atmospheric Sciences program with faculty
from UNR and from the Desert Research Institute. We are specifically
interested in a researcher focused on improving numerical weather and/or
climate prediction via topics including (a) improving physical process
parameterizations, (b) coupling of climate system components, and (c)
constraining simulations with observations.
