Arkansas State University, College of Agriculture is hiring an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Water Management/Remote Sensing!

We have exceptional collaborations with USDA-ARS Delta Water Management Unit, University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Experiment Station, and a group of eastern Arkansas farmers. This career opportunity offers the chance to make national level contributions to both teaching and research.

Arkansas State University is situated in a region which heavily relies on irrigation for row crops like rice, soybeans, cotton, peanuts, corn and others. This position is especially suited to those interested in the use of remote sensing technology for precision agriculture/irrigation and the intersection of agriculture and water use or other related interests.

Candidates with a specialization in Agricultural Water Management or Precision Agriculture or Remote Sensing and an interest in another of these areas are optimal.
