These positions will be a very exciting opportunity to shape future air quality and climate policies for California's mobile source programs. The incumbent will lead innovative research, policy-informing projects, advance modeling and data collection techniques, develop emission inventory and analytical platforms, and interact with a wide range of stakeholders. Candidates with experience modeling vehicle emissions, traveling demand/freight movements, or policy/regulation related to mobile emissions would be preferred. These permanent full-time positions can be located in Sacramento or Riverside County (by current policy, incumbents have the flexibility to work remotely or in office).
