Dear Colleagues,

We are looking for a postdoc to investigate snowmelt processes using
satellite remote sensing. This is a fully funded, full-time, 1-year
position (renewable for an additional year pending availability of external
funding) that will be based in the Department of Earth and Environmental
Sciences at Syracuse University. The successful applicant will work closely
with team members from Syracuse, NASA, and the Army Corps of Engineers on a
NASA-funded research project that seeks to improve monitoring of snowmelt
dynamics via data fusion of active and passive microwave satellite
observations.

The project is well suited to applicants with a strong background in remote
sensing, snow science, hydrology, GIS, and/or climate science.

Please see the full ad for more details, and to apply:
https://www.sujobopps.com/postings/102879

Applications will be evaluated as soon as they are received, and the
position will remain open until filled. Full consideration will be given
to applications that are received before January 31, 2024.

Please feel free to share with any potential candidates!

Best,
Sam

P.S. If you are interested and happen to be at the AGU Fall Meeting this
week, I would be happy to connect!
