> · Experience with Linux platforms, including shell scripting and
> high-performance computing.

> · Specific Experience in at least one the following areas:

> · Aerosol microphysics
>
> · Molecular cluster dynamics
>
> · Optical properties of nanoparticles

> · Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government in-scope DoD Secret
> security clearance with Special Program Access (PAR/SAP). A U.S. Government
> in-scope DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start of
> employment.
>
> · Educational/ Experience Requirements:
>
> · Principal Survivability Engineer: Master’s degree AND 3 years of related
> professional/military engineering or post-graduate research experience, OR
> a Ph.D. and 0 years of related professional/military engineering or
> post-graduate research experience.
>
> · Sr Principal Survivability Engineer: Master’s degree AND 7 years of
> related professional/military engineering or post-graduate research
> experience, OR a Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military
> engineering or post-graduate research experience.
>
>
>
> Preferred Qualifications:
>
> · Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science, Remote Sensing/Spectroscopy, or adjacent
> discipline
>
> · Experience in aerosol physics or chemistry with an understanding of some
> or all of the following:
>
> · Aerosol interactions in the atmosphere
>
> · Aerosol nucleation and growth processes
>
> · Aerosol impacts on radiative transfer theory
>
> · Experience in some or all of the following in high-performance computing:
>
> · Ab initio electronic structure computation
>
> · Chemical transport modeling
>
> · Chemical kinetics/thermodynamics.
>
> · Experience in radiative transfer theory including knowledge of some or
> all the following:
>
> · Atmospheric spectroscopy in the visible and IR regions of the EM spectrum
>
> · Scattering and absorption by atmospheric particles (e.g., aerosols and
> hydrosols)
>
> · Radiative transfer modeling, including various approaches to solving the
> radiative transfer equation.
>
> · Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills to
> enable effective personal interaction and collaboration with a
> multi-disciplined team and customers.

> · A current active U.S. Government in-scope DoD Top Secret security
> clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
> (PAR/SAP).

> Salary Range: $104,600 USD - $157,000 USD
> Salary Range 2: $129,700 USD - $194,500 USD
>
> Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base
> pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well
> as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
> or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
