Hello everyone,
SciAll.org is a science education and research organization run by a
diverse team of volunteer scientists who are committed to making STEM
careers accessible to all. We use vlogs and social media to tell the
stories behind the science, to humanize scientists, and demystify the
scientific process and the path(s) to scientific careers.
We are currently recruiting board members to run SciAll in a more official
capacity than what we've been doing so far, to expand our reach and impact.
Unfortunately, these are not currently paid positions, so I hesitated to
post it here at first. However, I truly believe in this organization and
the work we've been doing. We hope to be able to offer paid positions in
the future. Our new board members will have a lot of say in where and how
we apply for funding. The commitment is only for a year, and probably
somewhere around 8-10 hours/month. This is a great opportunity for someone
more established to give back to the community, or a professional
development opportunity for those who are just getting started in their
careers and are passionate about science outreach and education.
Please see the application here

for
more information and to apply. Also if you know someone outside of Earth
Sciences, or even outside of STEM altogether, who would be a good fit for
any of these positions, please feel free to forward them this email or send
names my way.
Thanks for reading! Please let me know if you have questions.

The University of Michigan occupies the traditional territory of the
Anishinaabe. This land was ceded through the Treaty of Fort Meigs by the
Anishinaabeg—the Three Fires People—Ojibwe (Chippewa), Odawa (Ottawa) and
Bodewadimi (Potawatomi). Through these words we acknowledge their current
and ancestral ties to the land and the University.
