Research Assistant/ Associate Position at the University of Glasgow

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant/Associate to contribute to a project developing New tools to identify malaria vector habitats from high resolution Earth Observation data working with Dr. Kimberly Fornace (School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine) and Dr. Brian Barrett (School of Geographical and Earth Sciences) at the University of Glasgow.

This role will focus on developing deep learning tools to analyse drone and satellite imagery to support malaria control programmes. The successful candidate will be based in the UK but work closely with partners in both Peru and Tanzania with international travel to support field activities and collaborations with these partners.
