We are looking for a highly motivated Ph.D. student for a research project
that aims to determine Earth’s mantle composition. The selected candidate
will analyze the combined trace element (LA-ICP-MS) and Sr-Nd-Pb isotope
(TIMS) compositions of deeply formed olivine-hosted melt inclusions (MIs)
from Reunion and Iceland (with potential for fieldwork). Acquired data will
be used in combination with melt mixing models to re-evaluate and adjust
current global models of mantle convection, and melt transport from mantle
to crust.

Details of the project and the link to apply can be found here:

*Applications are due on November 7th!*
