[ES_JOBS_NET] Postdoc Position in Seasonal Atmospheric River Prediction at GFDL

The NOAA Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) and UCAR are seeking
a Cooperative Programs for the Advancement of Earth Science (CPAESS)
postdoctoral researcher to carry out research on seasonal atmospheric river
(AR) prediction. The position, which will be stationed at GFDL in
Princeton, New Jersey, will entail the investigation of the seasonal
predictability of ARs and their associated extreme precipitation over the
U.S., the development of prototype seasonal prediction products, and
transitioning the seasonal AR forecast product into an operational forecast
tool for the NOAA Climate Prediction Center (CPC). The postdoctoral
researcher will work closely with Drs. Nat Johnson
