A postdoc and two Ph.D. positions are available in the Atmospheric
Chemistry Modeling Group at NC State (https://zhenqu.wordpress.ncsu.edu/).
The successful candidates have the room to develop research projects on air
pollution and greenhouse gases using atmospheric chemistry models,
satellite observations, and data assimilation and statistical methods.

Prospective PhD students are expected to start in Fall 2023 in the
department of Marine, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. We strive to match
the research projects to the personality and career plans of group members.
Anyone with a background and interest in atmospheric science, environmental
science and engineering, remote sensing, data science, statistics, and
coding is encouraged to apply. Interested students should email Dr. Zhen Qu

The project for the postdoc will be focused on air pollutant and / or
greenhouse gas source estimates using satellite measurements. The start
date will be mutually agreed upon and can be as early as January 2023. To
