CSU San Bernardino Geological Sciences is hiring a part-time faculty member (or two) to teach GEOL 3220 Introduction to Geochemistry and GEOL 3240 Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology in-person during spring semester 2023.

Both courses are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays: GEOL 3220 from 9 - 11:45, and GEOL 3240 from 2:30 - 5:15.

We expect each class to have between 10 and 20 students. We prefer to hire a single candidate but will consider separate instructors for both courses. Course descriptions are here:

Our department has over 50 majors, 65% of which are first-generation. As a designated Hispanic Serving Institution, CSUSB reflects the dynamic diversity of the region and has one of the most diverse student populations of any university in the Inland Empire, and the second highest Hispanic enrollment of all public universities in California.
