This is a highly technical NWRO-based position in the NWRO/SWRO & Air Quality Operations Unit within the Technical Services Section. This specialist will monitor the ambient air for fine (PM2.5) and coarse (PM10) particulate, ozone, and other pollutants, as well as their chemical constituents, at locations throughout Ecology's Northwest Region, focusing on implementing several national programs including EPA Near Road and Chemical Speciation Network monitoring. This position will also provide backup support to the PAMS and NATTS programs, helping operate almost every type of monitor in our network.
