[ES_JOBS_NET] PostDoc Position: Development of new mineralogical and mineral-chemical exploration vectors for sedimentary basin-hosted mineralisation in Europe

Dear Colleagues, 

 

We are currently looking for a postdoctoral researcher interested in
developing new mineral-based exploration vectors for basin-hosted base-metal
mineralisation in Europe. This position is part of a larger collaborative
research project, where the potential of different exploration techniques
(basin analysis, magnetotellurics, seismics, geochemistry) to discover such
mineralisation is investigated in detail across several major case studies
(Kupferschiefer, Irish Midlands, Tethyan belt). The project will offer some
exciting possibilities for innovative interdisciplinary research, so should
be of particular interest to recent PhD graduates trying to build their
research profile.
