EPA Office of Research and Development's coastal/estuarine research laboratory in Newport, OR is hiring a field/lab technician! (3) This field/lab technician will support priority research, including understanding coastal nutrient impacts and climate change effects in aquatic and coastal/estuarine ecosystems. (4) We are looking for candidates with knowledge, experience, and interests in developing skills in: coastal/estuarine research; collecting and analyzing biological, chemical, and physical samples; field work in (primarily) coastal/estuarine environments, often with inclement weather; laboratory experiments, including maintaining and culturing marine/estuarine organisms; managing databases, performing data entry & QA/QC, and summarizing and analyzing data.
