is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the
assistant professor level with research expertise and interest in the next
generation of Transportation Engineering under the broad theme of Smart,
Integrated Cities as part of a multi-year cluster hiring initiative

er/> . We envision the successful candidate will work at the intersections
of academic units across the College of Engineering to build a dynamic and
exciting research program.

Candidates must hold a PhD in civil engineering or closely related field by
the September 1, 2022 start date. The successful candidate will be expected
to develop a sustainable research program; mentor undergraduate and graduate
students; teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses in
transportation engineering; and become engaged in service at the
departmental, college, University, and community levels. A professional
engineering license, or plan to obtain one, is desirable but not required.
