A Post-Doctoral researcher is needed to lead research on a high-profile NOAA funded project to integrate stream/river temperature models into the National Water Model. Responsibilities will be to develop and conduct independent research related to stream temperature modeling and hydrologic disturbances, and assist in managing a research group of graduate students.  Candidates should have expertise in machine learning, spatial data analysis, remote sensing, hydrologic and/or stream temperature modeling.  The initial contract will be for 12 months with the option to renew for an additional 12 months pending satisfactory research progress. Candidates should have completed PhD by August 1, 2022.  Position will be available starting September 1st, 2022.
