The Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy (envirocenter.yale.edu<https://C:/Users/ZAW3/Dropbox%20(Yale_FES)/EPI_Admin/envirocenter.yale.edu>) seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to serve as the project director for the Environmental Performance Index (EPI) (epi.yale.edu<https://C:/Users/ZAW3/Dropbox%20(Yale_FES)/EPI_Admin/epi.yale.edu>). The position will span the Summer of 2022 to the Summer of 2024, culminating in the launch of the 2024 EPI report.

The EPI has been a flagship project of the Center for over twenty years, tracking trends in sustainability and highlighting global leaders in environmental health and ecosystem vitality. Policymakers, researchers, media outlets, and non-governmental organizations rely on the EPI’s data-driven insights to identify environmental priorities and implement more effective sustainability policies.

The Postdoctoral Associate will supervise all aspects of the 2024 EPI analyses and report by: (1) mobilizing a team of data partners, researchers, and sustainability experts; (2) engaging with environmental and health ministries in governments around the world; (3) supervising multiple environmental research streams and data analyses; and (4) overseeing the production of a high-quality report.
