Job Posting: Program Directors for Geophysics and Geobiology and Low-Temperature Geochemistry Programs
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is seeking qualified candidates for Physical Scientist (Program Director) positions in the Geophysics<https://beta.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/geophysics-ph-0> (PH) and Geobiology and Low-Temperature Geochemistry<https://beta.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/geobiology-and-low-temperature-geochemistry> (GG) programs. These two programs are in the Disciplinary Programs Section within the Division of Earth Sciences (EAR). The PH Program Director will also manage the Cooperative Studies of Earth’s Deep Interior<https://beta.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/cooperative-studies-earths-deep-interior-csedi> (CSEDI) Program in the Integrated Activities Section of EAR.
The Program Directors' core duties and responsibilities will be administering the merit review process, proposal recommendations, identifying and supporting emerging trends in the sciences, and coordinating and working with other programs in NSF and other Federal agencies.
