This is a highly technical HQ-based position in the NWRO/SWRO & Air Quality Operations Unit within the Technical Services Section. This position will be instrumental in rolling out our expanded air monitoring in overburdened communities for the Climate Commitment Act and will have a specialty focus in air sensors and Federal Equivalent Method particulate sampling as part of that effort.

This scientist position is based at HQ in the NWRO/SWRO & Air Quality Operations Unit within the Technical Services Section. This position will help set quality assurance policy for the Program and ensure agency credibility by assuring the quality of our monitoring data meets state and federal requirements. This position will also review and analyze our most complex data sets and be instrumental in establishing new quality assurance protocols as we roll out our expanded air monitoring in overburdened communities for the Climate Commitment Act.
