Subject: Teaching postdoc in planetary science at Wesleyan
To: Meredith Hughes <amhughes at wesleyan.edu>

Hello planetary science colleagues,

We've just been approved to hire a planetary science teaching postdoc at
Wesleyan for next year and are very excited to search for someone great to
join our interdisciplinary research group. It's a 3-year position (1-year
initial appointment with reappointment for two more years), and involves a
teaching load of 2.5 credits per year (one upper-level class in the
postdoc's research area, one small freshman seminar, and then organizing
our planetary science seminar each semester, which is basically a lecture
series). We're particularly interested in finding applicants who will
thrive in and contribute to our research-active and undergraduate-focused
campus culture, and who will strengthen our commitment to recruiting and
supporting a diverse and inclusive community of scholars. Please share our
job ad broadly with anyone who might be interested in applying. I'm happy
to answer questions or talk about the position. Thanks for your help!

Meredith
