Hello Colleagues,

We are looking for an outstanding post-doctoral researcher at PNNL to focus
primarily on developing integrated unoccupied vehicle platforms for
semi-autonomous sensing using frequency domain electromagnetic induction.

The responsibilities of the position are posted below, please see the full
opportunity announcement here: https://careers.pnnl.gov/jobs/6224?lang=en-us

The Energy and Environment Directorate (EED) of the Pacific Northwest
National Laboratory is seeking to hire a post-doctoral scientist with
expertise in electromagnetic geophysical imaging and instrumentation. The
subsurface remote sensing, i.e., geophysics, teams of the Environmental and
Subsurface Sciences Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory are
leading an effort to transform integrated subsurface imaging technology. We
are seeking a scientist with self-motivation and independence that can
complete small well-defined tasks while focusing in parallel on developing
their own network here at the lab. The candidate will work primarily on
projects where electromagnetic induction tools are designed and integrated
with other sensors on autonomous vehicle platforms. Additional project work
may include field, laboratory, or computational work to support the EED
mission. Some travel may be required.

Please share this with your local networks, and forward to any potential
candidates you think may be interested. Thank you.

Best wishes to you and your families during the holiday season.
