there's still time to apply for a postdoc in my group (application review starts 10/1):
The ERSAM Lab is currently looking for a postdoctoral fellow ("Research Associate" in MSU terms) to work on our new NSF CAREER award focused on estimating forest carbon uptake using remote sensing and modeling. The work is mainly focused on temperate forests in the eastern United States, with connections to the sites affiliated with the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON). There will be opportunities to work both with traditional remote sensing products (Landsat) and emerging tools like imaging spectroscopy and lidar from the NEON Airborne Observation Platform and three dimensional radiative transfer models.
The postdoc position is posted here: https://careers.msu.edu/cw/en-us/job/507680/research-associatefixed-term - feel free to email Kyla with questions, but you must apply through the posting.
