[ES_JOBS_NET] Lab Manager, Kentucky Stable Isotope Geochemistry Laboratory

The Kentucky Stable Isotope Geochemistry Laboratory is hiring a research
facility manager. The manager will be responsible for the day-to-day
operation of instrumentation and overseeing the undergraduate workers.

The lab is well equipped with three IRMS, two Delta Plus and a MAT 253.
Peripherals include a new Isolink EA for sulfur isotope analysis, a Costech
EA for carbon and nitrogen isotopes, TC/EA, gasbench, and Trace GC Ultra.
Additionally, the lab has a new Los Gatos water isotope analyzer with 17O
capabilities.  Data processing is streamlined using LIMS.  All instruments
generate publication-quality data.

The position is hard money, supported by the College of Arts and Sciences,
with an expected salary of $50-55K. The University of Kentucky has a
generous benefits package, with 2:1 match on retirement savings and
excellent healthcare. Lexington has a population of 300k, with affordable
housing, good schools, and is located an hour from excellent hiking and
climbing.

Familiarity with some, though not all, of the methods and instrumentation
