The Environmental Chemistry group in the School of Energy and Environment at City University of Hong Kong is currently looking for motivated, talented and creative Ph.D. students to work on laboratory-based and field-based projects related to:
1. Multiphase chemistry of aerosols in marine and coastal environments
2. Degradation of organic water pollutants

These Ph.D. graduate studentships are fully funded for the duration of the program (4 years). Any continuation of financial support is contingent upon the student’s satisfactory research and academic progress.

Applicants should have (or are expected to have by the time of commencement) a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree, with research experience in chemistry, atmospheric sciences, aquatic sciences, environmental sciences/engineering, chemical engineering, earth sciences, or a related science or engineering field. Experience with analytical techniques related to environmental sampling (especially, mass spectrometry and chromatography), and data analysis is highly desired. Ability to communicate effectively in English is necessary.
