In this entry level air permits position, you will
1. Gain working knowledge of permitting activities such as assisting in the preparation or review of permits issued, reissued, or modified under the Clean Air Act.
2. Assist senior permit specialists by providing technical support to state, local or tribal agencies regarding technical and scientific criteria and methods; pollution control requirements; and impacts of pollutants.
3. Assist senior permit specialists in resolving issues related to permit requirements and support the defense of permits against legal challenges with EPA's Office of Regional Counsel (ORC).
4. Respond to permit inquiries.
