A postdoctoral research position is now open in the Atmospheric Chemistry and Dynamics Laboratory at NASA/GSFC in Greenbelt, MD, to analyze satellite NO2 data from OMI, TROPOMI, and eventually TEMPO, principally over oil and gas operations in coastal US waters. There will also be opportunity to perform research with the Southern Hemisphere Additional Ozonesondes (SHADOZ; https://tropo.gsfc.nasa.gov/shadoz/) network, and participate in field work. The candidate should have experience analyzing satellite NO2 data, and be willing to work with ground-based instrumentation and in the field. The candidate will have ample opportunity for growth while collaborating with numerous domestic and international agencies/partners.

Funding up to ~18 months is available for a recent PhD graduate to begin as soon as February 2022. The candidate will later be encouraged to apply for continued funding through the NASA Postdoctoral Program: https://npp.usra.edu/opportunities/details/?ro=19000
