The Department of Physical Geography at Stockholm University is looking for an Associate Professor in Physical Geography (deadline 2022-01-31).

The position is open to all fields within the broad topic of Physical Geography but particular emphasis is put on these criteria:

- Ability to collaborate with researchers from one or more of the department's research units (more info here: https://www.su.se/department-of-physical-geography/)
- Documented experience and competence in using geographic information systems (GIS) in research and teaching.

The position, in Swedish "universitetslektor"; is a tenured position approximately equivalent to Senior Lecturer (UK) or Associate Professor (US).

At basic education level, the responsibilities may include teaching within all the department's bachelor's programs.

The Department of Physical Geography is one of the major departments within the Faculty of Science at Stockholm University.
