The College of Engineering is looking to add an Environmental Engineering & Science Program Laboratory Director to their team. This position is responsible for facilitating lab-based and field-based research and teaching for the Environmental Engineering & Science (EES) Graduate Program.

Position Qualifications
Required

  *   Master's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, analytical chemistry, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  *   At least two years of relevant experience with using, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment and instrumentation utilized in Environmental Engineering and Science Program research is required.
  *   Three to five years' experience using Environmental Engineering and Science Program research methodologies, tools, and techniques is required.
  *   Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations concerning the operation of research laboratories is required.
  *   Demonstrated commitment to excellence through diversity, equity, and inclusion is required.
  *   Excellent oral and written communication skills is required.
Desired

  *   Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, analytical chemistry, or related field is desirable.
  *   Experience with gas, liquid, or ion chromatography and/or mass spectrometry is desirable.
