A 3-year PhD position in the field of climate extremes is open at the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium in the context of an ITN project, EDIPI, [ https://edipi-itn.eu/ | https://edipi-itn.eu/ ] . 

We are looking for a motivated candidate wishing to pursue a PhD degree in theoretical/computational physics in the field of climate extremes. The specific subject will be 
: investigation of extreme climate instabilities. This will involve the use of tools from nonlinear science, dynamical systems theory and large deviation theory.
