Environmental Professional (Engineer/Geologist/Environmental Scientist)

We are currently seeking to add an Environmental Professional (Engineer/Geologist/Environmental Scientist) to our dynamic team in Richland, Washington.
Working with the PBS Team
PBS provides a range of environmental services throughout the Pacific Northwest, including collaboration between office locations. The Richland office primarily works with local and regional public and private clientele on remediation, site assessment, and site monitoring projects, and is seeking a team member with the flexibility to respond to dynamic project needs. This position includes both field and office work and the opportunity to have meaningful impact on the planning and execution of projects. This position also offers the opportunity to work with different client types and to develop a range of environmental service skill sets.
Job Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and execute multi-media field sampling efforts;
* Review and analyze field data;
* Maintain databases of analytical, instrumentation, and other site data;
* Prepare reports and presentations;
* Prepare proposals for small projects;
* Provide field oversight of subcontractors.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
* Bachelors of Science degree in geosciences, environmental science, or engineering;
* 2 to 4 years of environmental consulting experience;
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
* HAZWOPER 40 hour trained;
* Groundwater, vapor, air, soil and/or waste sampling;
* 4 to 7 years of engineering or environmental consulting experience;
* Have or are pursuing related professional licensure or certification;
* DOT and/or IATA dangerous goods shipping paperwork;
* Soil vapor extraction systems and/or thermal oxidizers;
* Federal hazardous waste and/or Washington state dangerous waste regulations;
* Washington State cleanup programs (MTCA or VCP);
* Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments;
* Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CECSL).
