We are recruiting two PhD students, one at McGill University Department of
Earth Sciences and the other at the University of Delaware School of Marine
Science and Policy, for a new NSF-funded project, *Microbial and
hydrothermal controls on organic carbon mobilization from Guaymas Basin
sediment*. This interdisciplinary project will involve exchange of both
students between UD and McGill and is designed for cross-disciplinary
training. It will include isotope analysis of biomarker lipids and respired
CO2 from sediment incubations. More details are included in the attached
PDF.

We would be grateful for help in getting the word out to potential
interested candidates. Both collaborators, Nagissa Mahmoudi and I, are
happy to answer any questions.

Best,
Suni
