Hi everyone,

We're seeking a postdoc to work on a NOAA funded project aimed at
understanding how the representation of various land-surface processes
impact on the simulation of drought within the Community Earth System Model
(CESM).

The 2-year position is based in the Climate and Global Dynamics (CGD)
laboratory within the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder,
CO and the successful candidate will work with myself, Dave Lawrence and an
interdisciplinary team of land modellers and climate dynamicists within the
Terrestrial Sciences and Climate Analysis sections of CGD. The project
involves the design, running and analyzing of simulations with CESM along
with analysis of observation based datasets. Please see the link below for
more information and to submit an application

https://ucar.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/UCAR_Careers/job/Mesa-Lab-Building/Postdoctoral-Fellow_REQ-2020-187-2

and please contact me (islas at ucar.edu) if you have any questions about this
position.

Best wishes,
Isla
