Dear Colleagues,

The Finlayson-Pitts group is seeking a post-doctoral researcher for a
research project focused on differentiating surface from bulk composition of
organic particles using a variety of mass spectrometry techniques.  A Ph.D.
in chemistry is required, ideally with a strong background in mass
spectrometry and atmospheric science, good English skills, and an excellent
publication record.  Candidates should have the ability to move the project
forward aggressively as well as support and collaborate with other students
and postdoctoral researchers in the research group as a whole.  The project
involves the use of surface-sensitive mass spectrometry techniques to obtain
molecular level knowledge of the surface of highly viscous organic particles
before and after heterogeneous oxidation of the particles.  The position is
initially for one year with the possibility of extension for a second year.
