The Aquaculture Federal Permit Manager <https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/washington/jobs/2892879/aquaculture-federal-permit-manager-environmental-specialist-4>  positions are senior level environmental specialists and serve as Ecology's Federal Permit Manager for Headquarters, these positions are responsible for upholding and enforcing state laws and policies in order to protect and promote the wise management of our state water resources.

Some of the key work activities of the Aquaculture Federal Permit Manager positions are:
*         Manages a high volume of application for aquaculture projects.
*         Makes recommendations on whether to approve Section 401 Water Quality Certifications and/or Coastal Zone Management decisions for aquaculture projects.
*         Works with other federal and state agencies reviewing projects and conducting site visits as needed.
*         Manages a number of aquaculture projects that need to be reviewed and permitted.
*         Maintains a high volume of applications while ensuring that deadlines are not missed.
