[ES_JOBS_NET] Postdoctoral Researcher in hydroclimate research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

I am seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to join our lab, working on understanding hydroclimate extremes in the Americas. Our lab uses observations, climate model simulations, and paleoclimate reconstructions to discover why droughts, pluvials, and related hydroclimate extremes happen. Specific research projects will be determined based on the candidate's scientific interests. A PhD in climate, atmospheric, earth, or hydrological science (broadly defined) and experience statistically analysing large datasets using Python, Matlab, Julia, or R is preferred. The initial start date is flexible and could begin in the late winter through to the summer of 2021. The appointment will be for one year and may be renewed for additional years based on performance.
