Dear Colleagues,

The Earth System Science Department  at UC Irvine is recruiting a 
tenure-track Assistant Professor with a research agenda in the area of 
climatic impacts on societies.  We seek a colleague with a fundamental 
grounding in Earth system science including climate change and whose 
research is directed at quantitative understanding of the impacts of 
climate change on societies worldwide. Areas of interest include impacts 
of current and projected climatic changes and other stressors on issues 
such as food and water security, human health and well-being, 
environmental justice and economic development.
