The Marine Metal Isotope & Trace Element Laboratory of the College of Marine
Science at the University of South Florida (USF) is offering a Postdoctoral
Scholar position in biogeochemical research. Specifically, the research will
focus on field and experimental work on the role of atmospheric dust on iron
isotope cycling in the surface oceans. This position will involve both
cruise and laboratory work, as well as mentoring graduate and undergraduate
students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Chemical Oceanographic or Earth Science field.

Preferred Qualifications:

The successful candidate should demonstrate excellence in scholarly
productivity in either trace metal chemistry, isotope geochemistry or
multi-collector ICPMS.

The position is available immediately, with an initial 1-year appointment.
The appointment can be extended, contingent upon satisfactory performance
and funding availability. $50,000 annual salary plus benefits.
