The Transportation Analysis section (TAS) within the California Air Resources Board (CARB) is seeking highly motivated individuals to support evaluation of land use and transportation strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to California's Senate Bill 375 Program. The incumbent will work with local and regional planning agencies throughout California to develop transportation conformity budgets and to encourage adoption of aggressive plans and policies that reduce criteria pollutants and GHG emissions from vehicle travel. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing new quantification methodologies for assessing the impact of various innovative transportation policies/technologies on emissions. Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal relationship skills are essential to be successful in this position.
