Environmental Analyst and Project Assistant

Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) seeks a bright, motivated individual to
support a range of environmental projects.

Duties will include:



*	Researching scientific and technical topics
*	Analyzing data
*	Developing print and digital outreach products
*	Assisting with project management tasks (e.g., tracking and
financial reporting)
*	Providing logistical support for in-person conferences and webinars


The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate with a degree in
science, engineering, or a related discipline; and should be conversant in a
variety of scientific disciplines.

This position requires the following skills and attributes:



*	Strong attention to detail
*	Quantitative data analysis skills
*	Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*	A customer service focus, with strong interpersonal skills (this
position includes interaction with clients)
*	Ability to take initiative and multi-task
*	Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word and
Excel)


We are particularly interested in candidates who have additional skills in
any of the following areas:



*	Website development and content management systems (e.g., WordPress,
Drupal)
*	Social media engagement and analytics
*	Geographic information systems (GIS)
*	Data visualization software
*	Statistical software packages


Core job functions can be performed remotely, particularly during continued
COVID restrictions. We do have a preference for candidates in the Greater
Boston area, as this position is based out of our Lexington, MA, office, and
being physically located in the office will be beneficial to certain job
functions in a post-COVID world. However, we welcome applicants from
anywhere in the United States. Post-COVID, this position may require
occasional travel, typically within the United States.
