Hi all,

The Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Lab at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) invites applications for a PhD position in experimental atmospheric chemistry. The successful candidate may have a major research focus on urban air pollution, as part of a recently funded ALPACA project (https://alpaca.community.uaf.edu/). This PhD researcher will work with a group of world-class experimental chemists, to investigate the formation and transformation of air pollution in dark and cold conditions. We expect this researcher to have strong analytical chemistry background, with experience in Particle-into-liquid-sampler (PILS) and Ion Chromatography (IC) preferred.
