[ES_JOBS_NET] Post-doc position: Regional CO2 flux analysis

Dear colleagues,



I am hiring a post-doc at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. The
Post-Doctoral Fellow’s job duties will include research projects that
integrate and synthesize CO2 flux datasets from a large number of eddy
covariance measurement stations. Field visits may be conducted in irrigated
and non-irrigated agricultural fields in Arkansas and other states. The
project will investigate the impacts of land cover and management practices
on the surface energy balance, biophysical properties, and greenhouse gas
emissions. The Post-Doctoral fellow will interface with scientists from a
number of institutions and disciplines. The ultimate aim is to compare CO2
flux measurements at the eddy covariance field scale to measurements taken
by aircraft and other platforms to compare magnitudes and timing of fluxes.
