[ES_JOBS_NET] post-doc position, regional scale climate modeling, Argonne National Laboratory

Argonne National Laboratory has a post-doc position open for regional scale
climate modeling through our leadership computing facility. This is a joint
position with the Atmospheric Science and Climate Research group of the
Environmental Science Division. The candidate is expected to assist in the
high spatial resolution simulations of regional climate change at convective
resolving spatial scales. In particular, this position is for applications
of the Weather Research Forecasting (WRF) model and similar regional scale
weather/climate models at these spatial scales for multi-decadal simulations
on high performance computing platforms, scaling models to existing and
emerging platforms and optimizing model performance. This is a two-year
position with a target start date in June 2020.
